One of extravagant singer’s with different hair colours trademarks is Pink tattoos. She really has many tattoos in different styles – Japanese kanji, tribal tattoos, texts, symbols and several animals – there is a lot to discover on her body.
Pink – Alecia Beth Moore – was born in 1979, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania in the family of Vietnam veteran of German, Irish and Lithuanian heritage and a nurse. Later the family moved to Philadelphia, where Pink grew up. Since childhood, she admired Witney Houston, Madonna, 4 Non Blondes, Janis Joplin, Mary J. Blige and she saw also herself as a singer. As a child, she tried different things: for one period, she was a skateboarder, for another she got swept away by gymnastics, and for another Pink tried herself as a hip-hop artist.
She started participating for talent shows and appeared as a singer on club scenes. 13 years old girl was invited to sing back-up for local DJ’s rap group and soon got noticed by a record executive, joined R&B group and stared her professional solo career by LaFece Records. When Pink watched a movie „Reservior Dogs” with her friends, they noticed resemblance of a future singer and Mr. Pink in the movie, so this is where her stage name comes from, of course, not without irony. In 2000 Pink’s debut album saw the daylight and since then she never disappeared from spotlights.
Pink Tattoos History
Among uncountable Pink tattoos, we can find Chinese character standing for infinity, red heart, the guardian angel, frog, razor blade and others. Pink’s left arm is fully covered with a tribal tattoo design. On her right ankle, we can see kanji for happiness and luck. On the back of her neck there is a bar code tattoo with numbers “1 9879-11200-1 3” – meaning her date of birth, release date of her album „M!ssundaztood”and the lucky number 13.
Meanings Behind Pink Tattoos
On the right wrist we can read “What goes around, come around,” and “Tru Luv” she and her husband decided to ink on their bodies spontaneously, but on the left arm there is written “Sit Corky Moore.” On her upper tight Pink has a tattoo of a dragon, but on the lower stomach – cartoon cat.
Asked about removing tattoos, Pink has an answer – strict „No”. Even those tattoos, which she has got for lovers and without thinking twice before doing, she is not going to remove, because she considers that removing marks, which once were important to you, is very disrespectful action. Pink tattoos are not going to disappear ever.
